Growing up I was always the one with a camera everywhere my friends and I went. I got my first Polaroid camera when I was 7 years old and I took it everywhere I could. Once I got to junior high and high school it was good old disposable cameras that were a staple in my bag. When I graduated in 2001, I took my first photography class at Fresno City College. The way I saw the world always seemed to be framed up like a photograph. Places I visited I noticed the light and could see how beautiful it would be if I could capture it with a camera correctly.
When I turned 30, my son was 4 and I was now a single mother. We had just done our first photo shoot with a friend of mine and I started thinking this was something I could pursue on my own. A way to help me do something I have always loved and support myself and my son in the process. I was fortunate to have a lot of guidance and support along the way.
I got my first "real camera" that year and it was off to the races! I started doing sessions for family and friends and slowly that grew into them telling their family and friends. Over the last 8 years I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing families and providing them with something that I know means as much to them as it means to me.
I would love to capture your moments for you!
